Carer’s Fund
This fund has been put in place to support delegates who have additional costs for attending the Fusion Industry School as a consequence of caring responsibilities.
Examples for how the fund can be used include:
- extended hours for a child-minder or care worker
- babysitter costs
- travel expenses for friends or relatives to care for your dependants
- after school activities, clubs or play-schemes
- medical, nursing or respite care
Please note this is not intended to be an exhaustive list.
Our aim is to support those who most need additional support in order to attend; please keep this in mind when considering whether or not to apply.
To be eligible, you should be attending one or both of the Fusion Industry School weeks in 2024.
We have 4 funding packages of up to £250 available in 2024, which can be used for either the York or Oxford week or across both weeks. Applications can be made up to four weeks before each week of the school, and we aim to get back to you with a decision within two weeks. Awards will be made to the first four eligible applicants.
Costs will be reimbursed after the event and we may require an invoice or receipt in order to pay.
