Who is the programme aimed at?
The purpose of the Fusion Industry School is to introduce you to the breadth of fusion energy. Content is aimed at professionals with an engineering or scientific background, with 0-3 years of experience in fusion. You do not need any prior fusion knowledge to attend.
The course will benefit:
- People re-skilling into fusion from adjacent sectors
- New graduates starting in a fusion role looking for a overview of the industry
- Professionals with a few years experience looking to deepen their understanding of the different technologies involved, and how they function and interact with each other.
- Business leaders/strategists looking to understand the challenges and opportunities in fusion
If you are an undergraduate, MSc or PhD student looking for an introduction to fusion, we would recommend the Culham Summer School: https://culhamsummerschool.org.uk/
ITER also have a list of summer schools for students on their website (see left-hand menu): https://www.iter.org/education
