I am a postgraduate doctoral student at The University of Manchester supervised by Dr Ed Pickering and Dr Aneeqa Khan.
My PhD project will focus on looking at the bulk properties of the VCrMnFeAl High Entropy Alloy (HEA) system and assess its suitability for nuclear fusion applications.
Throughout my PhD, I look forward to developing my practical skills in SEM imaging, mechanical testing, plasma irradiation experiments and heat treatments whilst analysing current data to understand how the VCrMnFeAl HEA system compares to other metals and alloys.
