Student Poster Prizes at EPS Conference

Two Fusion CDT students won poster prizes at the recent European Physical Society Plasma Physics Conference, which was held in Leuven, Belgium from 4 to 8 July 2016.
Arkaprava Bokshi, a fourth year Fusion CDT student based at the University of York, won a prize for a poster entitled “The self-consistent response of linear micro-instabilities to profile evolution”.
Hannah Willett, a third year Fusion CDT student based at the University of York, won a prize for her poster entitled “The role of plasma instabilities in the onset of detachment in the York Linear Plasma Device”.
