Hannah Willett, a third year Fusion CDT student based at the University of York, won a student poster prize at the IOP Plasma Physics Conference which was held on the Isle of Skye from 23 to 26 May 2016. Hannah’s poster was entitled, “The role of plasma instabilities in the onset of detachment in the York Linear Plasma Device”.
