On Sunday the 13th of June 2021, Fusion CDT students Hasan Muhammed, Emma Hume, and Cyd Cowley took part in the York Festival of Ideas through a podcast entitled ‘Fusion: Fact and Fiction’. The event was performed in partnership with the Fusion CDT’s own podcast show, A Glass of Seawater, and in collaboration with Dr Melanie Windridge. The event was a discussion about the role of Fusion in film and entertainment, with examples from classic films such as Back to the Future and Spiderman 2. The event was recorded as part of the York Festival Ideas, with the video available to watch below.
