Congratulations to Ellie Tubman who has been selected as one of the 2019 winners of the EPS Plasma Physics Division PhD Research Award. Ellie’s thesis was entitled ‘Magnetic field generation in laser –plasma interactions’ and was supervised by Professor Nigel Woolsey at University of York. Following completion of her PhD Ellie is now a Research Associate in the Plasma Physics Group at Imperial College London.
