Congratulations to the following Fusion CDT students who have recently successfully defended their theses at viva:
Fred Thomas – a University of York student supervised by Dr John Pasley and Dr L Morgan. His thesis is entitled “On uncertainty in fusion neutronics”.
Jonathan Brodrick – a University of York student supervised by Dr Chris Ridgers. His thesis is entitled “Nonlocal transport in fusion relevant plasmas”.
Dave Shaw – a University of York student supervised by Dr Erik Wagenaars and Professor Timo Gans. His thesis is entitled “Removal of fusion-relevant deposits from metallic surfaces using low-temperature plasmas”.
Mike Barnes – a University of Liverpool student supervised by Dr Mark Bowden.
