Congratulations to Matthew Khan who was one of the winners of the Chiyoe Yamanaka Award at the Eleventh International Conference on Inertial Fusion Sciences and Applications held in Osaka, Japan in September 2019. Matthew won the award for his poster/talk entitled “Diagnosing Hot Electrons in the Shock Ignition Regime”. Matthew is a third year Fusion CDT student based at University of York.
